From camera to headset
Spatial Film is a working studio for Apple Immersive Video — shooting narrative films on the Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive and finishing them end-to-end in DaVinci Resolve. Blackmagic Design featured both sides of our pipeline in official press releases.
Production
Everything we put in a headset was really in front of the lens. Candlelit Tudor halls at ISO 800–1000 with no movie lights. Rider-POV at true eye height from a crane-mounted off-road rig with custom damping. No green screens, no artificial sets — because in 8K per eye HDR, the eye can tell.
Every production is captured in 16K stereoscopic at 90fps HDR on the Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive, with false color monitoring keeping exposure honest from candlelight to alpine sun.
Post-Production
Our entire finishing pipeline runs in DaVinci Resolve Studio — and much of it runs inside the headset. We edit immersive timelines in-headset on Apple Vision Pro, reviewing the film in the same medium the audience will watch it.
Fusion VFX in Apple Lens Space handles the invisible work — rig removal, cleanup, period-breaking fixes — while Fairlight spatial audio mixes sound that holds up when the viewer can look anywhere. Delivery targets Apple Vision Pro, Samsung Galaxy XR, and Meta Quest 3.
