Meta Quest App
Privacy Policy
Spatial Film for Meta Quest · Metaverse Stage Inc.
Effective July 11, 2026
Spatial Film is an immersive film app made by Metaverse Stage Inc. We built it to watch films, not to collect data. This policy explains the little we access, why, and what never leaves your headset.
The short version
- We don't run ads, we don't use analytics or tracking SDKs, and we never sell data.
- Your videos, photos, and local files stay on your device.
- We keep no user accounts of our own — subscriptions run entirely through your Meta account.
Streaming our films
When you watch a film from our catalog, your headset streams it directly from our content servers. Like any web request, our servers receive your IP address and standard technical details (the file requested, timestamps) in routine server logs used for delivery, capacity, and security. We don't build viewing profiles from them.
Subscriptions and your Meta account
Premium films unlock with an optional subscription purchased through the Meta Horizon Store. Payment is handled entirely by Meta — we never see your payment details. Through Meta's Platform SDK the app receives your Meta User ID and your purchase/subscription status, which we use only to verify your copy of the app and unlock content you've purchased. Meta's own privacy policy governs their side of the transaction.
Your media stays local
Spatial Film can play videos and show 360° photos from your headset's storage, and stream files from your own computer over your local network. These features work entirely on your device and your home network — your files, filenames, and photos are never uploaded to us or anyone else. Storage permissions are used only to list and play what you choose.
Live camera monitoring
The live camera feature receives video from professional cameras on the same local network as your headset. That feed is displayed in real time and never recorded, stored, or transmitted off your network by the app.
Settings
Preferences (playback settings, format choices, kiosk mode, and similar) are stored locally on your headset and deleted when you uninstall the app.
Children
Spatial Film is intended for general audiences and follows the age requirements of the Meta Horizon platform. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above. Meaningful changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
