A Spatial Film original
Witches, Frankenstein and grave robbers: a night walk through Edinburgh’s Old Town, in immersive 180°.
Synopsis
Your host Keeley Turner walks Edinburgh from dusk until dawn. We start in Greyfriars Kirkyard, where grave robbers once dug up new bodies for the anatomy schools. Then Victoria Street, and the close where Guillermo del Toro filmed Frankenstein.
After dark we stand at the Witches’ Well on Castlehill, where many accused of witchcraft were burned. Then Deacon Brodie’s Tavern, the old hanging site and St Giles’ Cathedral, with a lost graveyard beneath the streets. We finish as the blue light of morning rises over the Scott Monument.
Inside Vision Pro, the stone walls of the closes feel close enough to touch. Shot in stereoscopic 3D VR180 on the Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive in 16K HDR.
It is the newest In the Dark film, after Rome, Paris, London and Warwick. London in the Dark is in the Spatial Film app too.
